We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Client, a global manufacturer operating a state of the art facility in Oldham. This role is a 6 month contract with the potential to work from home 1 day a week following a short probation period. What You’ll Be Doing: Posting monthly journals Fixed asset register maintenance - post depreciation journals Balance sheet reconciliation Cashflow forecast Aged debtors/creditors reconciliation to general ledger Running month end reports Confirm IC balances - debtors/creditors Account analysis to review and correct postings Review repairs and maintain accounts for Capex Chasing overdue invoices and ensuring timely cash collection Review and update PO prices vs standard costs VAT returns - quarterly reconciliation to VAT control Assist with data entry Assist with tax and year end audit Assisting with ad hoc duties as required What We’re Looking For: AAT qualification A keen attitude to learn and develop Previous experience in a similar role Strong attention to detail Office-based work experience Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability A professional, confident, and diplomatic approach to communication If you are interested in this job role please submit your application, alternatively give us a call to be the first to apply Due to the large number of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to every applicant.
