CustomerService SecurityJobs GloucesterQuays HistoricDocks JoinOurTeam SafetyFirst CareerOpportunity EventsAndMarkets FreeParking OnsiteTraining Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site by monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions, providing traffic control and applying parking restrictions as required Manage keys, perform locking and unlocking duties and carry out routine tests of security equipment as detailed in the Assignment Instructions Issue visitor/contractor passes, deal with lost property and maintain all logbooks and records in accordance with the Assignment Instructions Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises and ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times Operate radios, pagers, clocking equipment and any other physical security equipment used on site and carry out initial investigations and report on incidents, suspicious activities, objects and vehicles both verbally and in writing Experience in retail, events or roles that involve interaction with the public is preferred Confident and Vigilant Outstanding customer service/interaction skills 5 Year checkable history (employment/education) Reasonable commuting distance SIA Licence & CCTV Licence - (desirable training provided) A firm grasp of English, both Written and Spoken
