Role: External Sales
Location: Buckinghamshire
Pay rate/Salary: Base Salary £35k to £45k + Bonus Available
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday
Type: Permanent – Office/Field based
Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)
My client is a leading Electrical Wholesaler, one of the largest in the UK, recruiting for Regional Sales Managers across Buckinghamshire.
The Role of Sales Manager:
* Growing and increasing sales in the branch’s geographical area.
* Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
* Developing strong customer relationships to maximize the full potential of all accounts.
* The ability to not be afraid of rejection, be it on the phone or face to face.
* Working as part of a tightly knit team to achieve high standards of business excellence.
Essential Sales Manager Skills:
* Electrical Wholesale experience
* Cold calling on the telephone willingness and tenacity
* The ability to approach companies directly, understanding how to spot a suitable target company
* Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients
* The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
* The ability to independently plan, organize, and work to tight deadlines.
* Smartly presented portraying a professional company image
* A valid UK driving licence
Desirable Sales Manager Skills:
* Punctual, reliable, and able to demonstrate effective time management
* Career focused, hardworking, and ambitious.
* Strong telephone skills
* Positive, ambitious, and driven with excellent listening/communication skills
* Experience of the wholesale industry would be advantageous but not essential
