The appointment will be made on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Employers’ Association Salary spine for teaching staff – Point 1 £32,178 to point 9 £49,725

MATHS at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College
The College is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, high performing and enthusiastic individual to the full-time post of Teacher of Maths, who will lead and inspire students. This is a post to join a team of professionals in a growing subject area.
Maths is a high performing department within our Outstanding College. We are now seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher who has the drive and enthusiasm to provide a high quality and challenging learning experience for our students whilst also ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment.
The Maths department offers a GCSE re-sit programme, A Level Maths and A Level Further Maths and is highly popular with over 800 students. The department is progressive in terms of its approach with a strong emphasis on encouraging a positive rapport between staff and students in the pursuit of academic success. There is a track record of supporting students to enhance their studies, such as Maths Challenge and support for STEP. There is a friendly and professional atmosphere and a wealth of experience with a strong encouragement to undertake CPD. This is an exciting time to join the Maths department, newly located into a new building with purpose-built accommodation and specialist resources. Ideally, applicants should have a track record of outstanding success teaching Maths.
