Job Description:
Our Battersea cattery teams are responsible for delivering the highest standards of animal welfare and care for every cat in their journey through Battersea. From a calm and compassionate intake, to providing feline friendly care whilst they are onsite and finally to rehoming them to loving new homes.
This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service within our Rehoming remit, while effectively coordinating the smooth and expeditious journey of cats through Battersea.
Please note this role is based at our Old Windsor centre.
What we can offer you:
In return for your commitment to our cause and to recognise the value of our employees, Battersea offers a range of benefits to support the wellbeing of our employees. These include:
1. 28 days of annual leave (plus 8 days paid public holidays) per year
2. Discounted gym memberships and cycle to work schemes
3. Employee Assistance Programme and access to Wellbeing Resources
4. Generous pension contributions – up to 10% employer contribution

6. Annual interest-free season ticket loans
We are also committed to providing learning and development to our employees. During your time with us, we provide support for your professional and career development, including access to digital and in-person training programmes, leadership and management training, mentoring and much more.
Working with our dogs and cats:
We are here for every dog and cat. Within our operational roles, this means providing the highest level of care and husbandry to our animals. Every day will be different and will sometimes involve emotionally challenging situations. Battersea has created an ethos of open conversations and carefully curated wellbeing initiatives to support our employees handling these scenarios. It is also important to note that the role is very physical and does involve a lot of manual tasks which are required to provide the exceptional standards of care to our animals. We ask you consider these aspects of the role carefully before applying.
