Joining Waterman Aspen as a Senior Transport Planner will see you as a key member of the North West team and you can expect: A varied client base where you can apply and develop your skills Further exposure to the industry and it’s leaders Working within clients being able to influence and make decisions Experience required… Essential: Current UK Experience within a public, private or third sector UK based client. Prepare or review engineering studies or specifications. Review and understand information from traffic counting programs. Review development plans for transportation system effects, infrastructure requirements, or compliance with applicable transportation regulations. Prepare reports or recommendations on transportation planning. Produce environmental documents, such as environmental assessments or environmental impact statements. Develop design ideas for new or improved transport infrastructure, such as junction improvements, active travel, bus facilities, and car parking areas. Eligibility to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence Desirable: Participate in public meetings or hearings to explain planning proposals, to gather feedback from those affected by projects; Involvement in the full project lifecycle, including budget/finance control. Collaborate with engineers to research and resolve complex transportation design issues. Significant experience in transport planning experience (10years)
