Role Summary: Fifth Season Television Distribution (TVD) is currently seeking a Senior Vice President of Sales EMEA for Europe and the UK. The SVP, Sales EMEA will be responsible for driving revenue across the region, through strategic planning, team leadership, and cultivating relationships with key broadcasters, platforms, and producers. This role requires a deep understanding of the television industry, market trends, and regional nuances to optimize sales performance, develop innovative strategies, and ensure the organization achieves its financial goals. Job Responsibilities: Drive revenue and deliver annual fiscal expectations. Directly handle sales to UK inclusive of co productions, pre sales and renewals across all genres. Work collaboratively and strategically across the overall EMEA business within FIFTH SEASON, inclusive of planning travel and screenings. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow TV sales revenue across the EMEA region. Work strategically with counterparts in the Americas and APAC to build a cohesive global sales team while meeting or exceeding sales targets by title across the region. Work with business unit heads to improve the overall customer service and sales abilities of the group. Collaborate with UK & US Studio, Scripted Television Strategy, Film, DOCS and Partner companies. Develop and enhance relationships with key content buyers and business partners across EMEA. Work with the Acquisitions Team to source, evaluate and run numbers on new programming opportunities for distribution. Regularly meet and update key stakeholders and producers on sales progress and strategy. Budget and reforecasting on behalf of the region and provide guidance to Finance for building of budgets and forecasts. Help develop new sales support, processes, and rights management systems. Manage and mentor direct reports and overall EMEA team. Regularly update management on local market trends, sales initiatives, leads and results. Act as a brand ambassador who will professionally represent FIFTH SEASON at industry conventions, screenings, and events. Travel domestically and internationally as and when required in territories Requirements: A minimum of 15 years in the entertainment business and management experience. Proven and demonstrable sales achievement at a major content distribution company, handling both scripted and non-scripted content for both linear and digital media in Europe. A track record of consistently closing complex deals with maximized license fees. Skilled in structuring deals, managing bidding processes, and leveraging opportunities to drive financial outcomes. Ability to communicate strategy, results, mandates, and opportunities at an executive level. Strong business development experience in identifying new opportunities and partners. Experience in end-to-end project delivery including deal negotiation and deal analysis. Used to presenting to a range of stakeholders in a clear, accurate and compelling manner; whilst building and developing strong internal and external relationships. Proficiency in interpreting financial data and research to inform strategic decisions. Strong judgment balancing short-term tactical goals with long-term vision. Entrepreneurial mindset to visualize, organize, and execute innovative solutions. Significant contact base across the region with broadcasters, platforms, and other sales organisations. Deep understanding and enthusiasm for entertainment, with a respect for its creative and commercial value. Positive, energetic, and resilient with a drive for continuous learning and growth.
