We are currently recruiting within Adult Forensic Services a motivated, enthusiastic, and inspirational leader in the role of Clinical Improvement Lead (Band 7), to complement our senior leadership team at Ravenswood House Secure Forensic Unit.
The team at Ravenswood are a multi-disciplinary team made up of nurses, healthcare support workers, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists, specialist therapists, and psychiatrists. The postholder will be working a variable shift pattern, with the shifts likely to be primarily between Monday and Friday, to meet the needs of the service.
Ravenswood House provides specialist care and treatment for people with serious mental illness in a secure environment who are detained under the Mental Health Act. Service users are males, aged between 18 and 65 years old, and may have either committed a criminal offence or have challenging behaviour.
We would welcome applications from experienced RLDN and RMN nurses who are highly motivated and possess excellent organisation and team working skills, be patient-focused and embracing of the Trust values. You will be ready to take the next step in your career and will have evidence of CPD.
Main duties of the job
The main purpose of Ravenswood House is to assist Service Users to understand and manage their own mental health and risk, so they can be reintegrated back into the community as soon as they are safely able to. This is achieved through a range of treatments, therapies, and services, which are provided by the Multi-Disciplinary Team and is tailored to meet the individual needs of the Service User. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with your colleagues to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
You will support the Clinical Ward Manager, Modern Matron, and the wider leadership team at Ravenswood House to deliver on the overall quality improvement plans set by the service, ensuring that a continuous cycle of clinical improvement is embedded throughout the unit. You will act as a positive transformational change lead, proficiently delivering on improving service users' outcomes and the performance of the unit.
You will be expected to manage, maintain, and improve a number of systems that will work alongside Trust strategies and Specialist Services agendas, including the patient incident system, quality improvement strategy, and patient experience improvement.

Qualifications
* RMN/RNLD/RN Child/RGN with Professional NMC Registration
* (appropriate part of the register)
* Masters Level Degree or equivalent knowledge gained through significant experience
* Management/leadership Training
* Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 a year based on full time hours.
