Tor View School are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our support team! We are looking for passionate people to make sure our sites are safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the school. You will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance. We are a flexible employer - hours can be completed either before school, or split before and after school.
Tor View School is a small special school with an Ofsted rating of GOOD. Our school is set in a beautiful rural location in West Devon. We are a day school specialising in the education and care of up to 30 pupils between the age of 7 and 18 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Social skills, communication needs and anxiety determine that they are in group sizes no greater than 4 pupils. We provide a personalised curriculum that previous schools have been unable to.

Your role will be to deliver an efficient and high-quality housekeeping service within the school, to assist the wellbeing, comfort and development of our students and young people.
Main duties:
9. To deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, in line with operational standards and ensure that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
10. To ensure that standards are delivered in all areas of the school in a timely and efficient manner, as part of the wider team.
11. To identify and report damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or Head Teacher to ensure that we continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
