The Role - Youth Worker
We are looking for a passionate and proactive Youth Worker to join an SEMH school in Islington on a long-term basis. The ideal Youth Worker will have a strong background in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, helping them to develop both academically and personally.
As a Youth Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Implementing de-escalation techniques and behaviour management strategies
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure student progress
