Business Development Executive – PPE & Workwear

CSS PPE & Workwear are looking for a driven sales professional to join our team.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for successfully developing a new business to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key responsibilities:
* To successfully identify new business opportunities and develop a new business pipeline.
* Arrange and attend customer visits for existing and prospect customers to showcase our offering.
* Have a proactive approach to sales and consistently achieve your activity and sales targets
* Convert prospect clients into trading accounts in line with the expectations of the profitability model and targets in both sales and gross profit and percentage
* To confidently present our offering to clients.
* To develop presentations and proposals.
* Update and maintain all records within our CRM
* Working closely with the internal Account Management team to ensure that customers are handed over smoothly with all their needs clearly communicated and to continue to support as necessary.
* Build rapport and nurture customer relationships, ensuring client accounts remain profitable at all times
* Support in holding regular account reviews to make clients aware of updates in legislation, products and innovation.
Skills Required:
* You will have recent experience of working within a new business environment where sales targets are consistently being achieved or exceeded
* You will have knowledge and experience of working within the PPE & Workwear industry
* You will effectively manage your time with an organised and forward-thinking approach
* Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
* Proven experience of building long lasting relationships with new and existing clients
* Proficient in using Microsoft office (word, PowerPoint and excel)
* A full UK driving licence
