If so, we would love to hear from you. About the Role As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive space for children aged 0-5 years. You will be responsible for supporting childrens learning, well-being, and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Working collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals, you will help plan and implement engaging activities tailored to childrens interests and developmental stages. Key Responsibilities: Promote childrens welfare, ensuring safeguarding policies are strictly followed. Plan and deliver creative and stimulating activities tailored to individual needs. Provide emotional and physical support, fostering a warm and secure environment. Observe and record childrens progress using digital learning journals (Tapestry). Work closely with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their childs development. Support children with additional needs, liaising with SENCO and external agencies when required. Maintain a safe, hygienic, and well-organized setting in compliance with Ofsted regulations. Participate in staff meetings, training, and career development opportunities. What We Are Looking For: Essential: Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Childcare/Early Years Education Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt activities to meet childrens individual needs Commitment to ongoing professional development Desirable: First Aid and Food Hygiene certification Prevent Duty and Safeguarding training Experience supporting children with SEN/Additional Needs IT literacy, including experience with Tapestry Why Join Us?
