We are looking for an experienced care assistant who has a strong history of working with elderly service users, learning and physical disabilities within a formal supported-living service / care home.
The service users are adults of varying ages so personal care is an aspect of the role, and you will be supporting the service users with day-to-day activities including leisure as well as cooking and some domestic duties.
Due to some of the service users having physical disabilities the candidate must have previous experience of the safe use of hoists and slings, some of the residents may also display some challenging behaviours.

To be suitable for this position you must:
- Have An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service or the facility to pay for the necessary DBS check
- Have up-to-date mandatory training dated within the past 9 months or the facility to pay for the necessary training
- A Practical Moving and Handling Certificate dated within the past 9 months
- Full up-to-date CV with employment history listed in full
- Be able to provide a minimum of 3 years referencing from two most recent employers, both of which should be relating to work within Health and Social Care.
- Be available to work Monday to Friday for the hours stated
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred.

The hour for this position are 09:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday.
You will be paid a basic rate of £11.56 per hour, with holiday being accrued on an FTE basis (based upon the hours worked)
Pay is processed on a weekly basis.
