Here is an opportunity for a Qualified Nurses to join the team on the Rehab wards 1 & 2 at The Royal Northern Infirmary RNI. The post is a fixed term contract for 3 months covering a career break. Nurses working here are committed to ensuring patients reach their rehab potential working collaboratively with a highly skilled Multidisciplinary Team. The wards offers rehab for adult patients admitted directly from the community and also from the acute health care environments. The aim of the wards is to facilitate patients’ physical rehab needs and support patients in their discharge planning which may require a change in home circumstances. Vacancies on ward 1 and 2 do not come available very often as team members choose to stay and flourish in a supportive environment and team. The ward offers the opportunity for Nurses to develop and further consolidate nursing skills. The post is based on a rotational shift pattern both days and nights. There is an induction period and a supportive preceptorship program designed to support the individual needs of the successful candidate. The RNI is based on the picturesque banks of the River Ness closed to both leisure facilities, city centre and transport links to the Highlands area.
