Project: Large Scale Industrial Project worth north of £100 Million outside of Leeds - Yorkshire (North ENGLAND). International client & repeat customer for this agile Main Contractor.
DESCRIPTION: Client is seeking an energetic, sharp & driven Senior Project Manager for a fast track and challenging Industrial project. With a construction value north of £100 Million and a program just under 30 weeks on site. This Main Contractor is seeking this person to have experience & knowledge of large scale Distribution & Industrial projects.
You will have clear hands-on experience looking after the full scope of work on site driving everything from program, quality, and sub-contract management.
Responsibilities:
1. Protect the position of the business while driving profitability and program.
2. Report into the Project Director on site and take full responsibility for the activities in the field from lifts, sequencing, and so on.
3. Adapt to weather conditions or design changes.
4. Understand team spirit and have the ability to get the most out of everyone around you, including sub-contractors, stakeholders, and team mates.
5. Career progression up to a director position could certainly be achieved for the right character ready to go the extra mile.
This project is based just outside of Leeds with further awards pending. The business aims to limit people having to stay away, with further projects generally within the range of Middlesbrough, Leicester, Hull & as far west as Manchester.
If the next project requires staying away a few nights, all associated costs are covered by the business, including evening meals or hotel rooms. The group has a work hard play hard ethos. Generally, after 6-9 months, they tend to put golden handcuffs on staff through pay rises, bonuses, and career progression.
Company Overview: This Main Contractor has a strong financial position and a great reputation across International Clients and the Key supply chain alike. A small project for them would be £35 Million, with their biggest to date at £230 Million.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Tickets & Courses – Up to date: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Capable to plan, coordinate and execute to time and budget.
2. Prior delivery experience on industrial projects (Understanding sequencing).
3. Keen to work with the supply chain, client, and external parties.
4. Maintaining strict quality control procedures.
5. Reporting on finances & progress.
6. Escalating any risk if needed.
