Key Responsibilities
HR Duties
* Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, CV screening, and interview scheduling.
* Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation.
* Support the onboarding and induction process for new employees.
* Coordinate training and development programmes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
* Handle employee queries regarding policies, benefits, and payroll-related concerns.
* Monitor attendance records, leave requests, and absence tracking.
Finance Duties
* Process invoices, expenses, and purchase orders.
* Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations.
* Maintain financial records and assist in budget tracking.
* Reconcile accounts and support month-end financial reporting.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors regarding payments and invoices.
Required Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an HR and/or finance role, ideally within the construction industry.
* Knowledge of payroll processing and financial administration.
* Familiarity with employment law and HR best practices.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Experience with accounting or payroll software is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
