As an Epic (EPR) Credentialed Trainer the post holder is responsible for:
* Delivering end user training to new starters at GOSH on multiple Epic training packages, in the classroom or virtually, to small groups or 1:1 sessions.
* Maintain Epic training curriculum documents, including lesson plans, exercise booklets, elearnings and EUPA (assessments).
* Further develop your training portfolio by successfully completing additional courses in GOSH's Credentialed Trainer training programme within a specified timeframe.
* Provide ongoing training and efficiency support to all Epic users.
* Participate in the Trust's Epic Thrive Programme providing trainer knowledge and efficiency training as required.
* Assisting with troubleshooting and testing of the training environment and curriculum to ensure it is safe, usable, secure and robust.
* When needed, participate in the rota to provide telephone training support via the EPR Helpdesk.
Main duties of the job
1. To deliver a selection of Epic Induction Training Courses plus ad hoc courses to employees of GOSH.
2. Work closely with the EPR Configuration teams to administer training packages to reflect the Epic system build.
3. Be an expert in training workflows, troubleshoot problems and address questions from end users.
4. Receive training on additional courses you will teach and deliver a panel presentation on the material you will be teaching to receive credentialed status.
5. Deliver training packages and workflows in an easy to understand format to individuals and/or groups of Trust staff, including at senior and director level.
6. Assist in specialist training sessions and offer training support to clinical specialist trainers or information officers.
7. Ensure end-users are given the appropriate levels of access and security to the EPR system as defined by their job role.
8. Participate in general administrative support for all training activities related to end-user training.
9. Log training or workflow issues as they arise and liaise with EPR colleagues to achieve resolution and escalate unresolved issues through the Training or Configuration Teams as appropriate.
