Haven Care Group are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the Management team within a Children’s Residential Home specialising in the care of young people with emotional and challenging behaviours in the Derby area. This role is full time and permanent.

To be successful as a Registered Home Manager with HCG, you will need to possess the following essential attributes:
You must have recent experience working within the residential sector at registered manager level within a Children residential EBD service.
A Certified Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent as a minimum
A Certified Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards completing this
Experience in leading and supervising a team within a Residential Child Care setting
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
As a Home Manager you will be responsible for a range of duties as set out below:
To implement and work in accordance with of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose for your service
To lead and manage a team to deliver excellent care and support for young people within the service.
To carry out routine meetings, supervisions, probationary reviews and lead on investigations for any concerns raised with your staff team.
To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people. To offer supervision and support to senior staff in line with Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
Attending childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information and achieve best outcomes for young people
Undertaking direct work with young people and acting as an appropriate role model.
To develop systems in which young people are consulted about the quality of care they receive
Working in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.
Chairing children’s meetings and facilitating consultation with young people generally
