We are seeking a versatile Financial Analyst / Management Accountant to join our Financial Shared Service Centre. This dual role encompasses robust management accounting duties and dynamic financial analysis to support Valor's ownership groups and leadership team. Key Responsibilities: As a Financial Analyst, you will: Conduct monthly financial reporting for various owners and senior management. Develop financial models, perform benchmarking and process analysis, and manage Hot Stats data. Analyze financial data to identify trends, report findings, and recommend actions to improve performance. Support business development by creating financial projections and business cases for new opportunities. Assist with the integration and removal of hotels in different portfolios and track pre-opening budget expenditures. Manage daily reporting and analysis of energy consumption and costs. As a Management Accountant, you will: Complete monthly P&L, Balance Sheet accounts, and forecasting for designated hotels. Provide accurate reconciliations with supporting documentation for hotel accruals and prepayments. Offer training and financial guidance to hotel management teams. Support the smooth operation of all finance systems and seek more efficient working methods. Assist with month-end tasks and duties within the shared service center as needed. Essential Job Responsibilities: Implement best practices in management accounting and reporting within the portfolio. Act as a proactive team player, supporting colleagues and leading change effectively. Recommend and implement new ways to improve efficiency by streamlining business processes. Stay up-to-date with current legislation and best practices through ongoing training and industry seminars. Ensure compliance with company and hotel regulations, internal audit standards, and data protection laws. Desired Skills and Education: University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Proven experience in financial reporting, data management, or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Proficiency in financial systems such as SUN, SQL, and other database management tools. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills and the capability to work collaboratively across teams.
