Position: Graduate Structural Engineer

I am actively seeking for a talented and motivated Graduate Structural Engineer a successful and busy Multidisciplinary Structural Engineering Consultancy in Bristol. This role will allow you to enhance your technical skills while working towards Chartered Engineer status with either the ICE or IStructE, engaging in structural design and project drawing across the UK.
Key Responsibilities for this Graduate Structural Engineer include:
* Conduct structural design and analysis calculations using relevant codes and standards, engineering principles, and personal expertise.
* Prepare drawings for your designs and produce sketches for incorporation into drawings by Technicians.
* Ensure project completion aligns with the Build Collective Quality Assurance framework.
* Utilize engineering and design software to create engineering documentation.
* Participate in field activities, including recording existing site conditions, collecting samples, or measuring on-site, under supervision.
Qualifications and Skills for this Graduate Structural Engineer:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (if only Civil, you must demonstrate structural knowledge through work experience or a research project).
* Show progress toward Chartership with either ICE or IStructE.
* Have a working knowledge of designing structural elements according to Eurocodes.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD.
* Desirable: experience with TEDDS, CADS, or other structural analysis and design software.
