Role Summary:
Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Junior Development Apprentice with Mutatio based in Warrington. We at Mutatio Creative Ltd are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Development Technician to join our team. This role will primarily focus on providing high-quality support to our clients, ensuring that their websites are consistently updated, secure, and functioning optimally. The successful candidate will be responsible for client liaison, website maintenance, server management, and general administrative tasks when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Junior Development Technician Apprentice you will:
Client Support:
* Be the initial point of contact for client technical enquiries.
* Answer clients’ enquiries in a timely and professional manner to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
* Identify issues on the website and work with the development team to define suitable solutions.
Website Updates:
* Theme/Plugin updates.
* Make sure that websites are fast and perform well after updating.
Client Website Updates:
* Make updates to the site as requested by the client or required by the project, e.g., adding new pages, changing text or images, changing styling, etc.
* Reach out to clients and inform them about updates and changes made.
* Keep plugins, themes and core software up to date to keep websites secure and running on the latest version.
* Check for incompatible issues and fix conflicts caused by the updates (Dependent on client website).
Server Management:
* Maintain website hosting environments and regularly monitor and adjust server settings for optimal performance.
* Work with hosting providers to get server-related issues resolved and maintain uptime and security.
Client Liaison for Support:
* Keep clients informed on their website requirements, updates and problems.
* Keep clients informed and happy.
General Admin (As Needed):
* Provide general support to the team, including document management, scheduling and data entry.
* Perform other ad-hoc work as needed to help the larger team.
Qualifications:
* Educational Requirements: 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.
Skills Required & Qualities Required:
* Not essential but desirable – basic knowledge of IT systems such as WordPress and admin-based systems such as Microsoft Office.
* Hard working but fun loving.

Opportunity for a full-time permanent position with successful completion of the apprenticeship.

* Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
* Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
* Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
* Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
* Support the information systems needs for your business.
