This role offers significant responsibility, including managing key client relationships, overseeing complex accounts, and mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities Managing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. Reviewing accounts, working papers, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. Overseeing VAT returns and management accounts preparation. Providing strategic tax advice and assistance when required. Liaising with HMRC and key stakeholders on behalf of clients. Supervising and mentoring junior team members, fostering a high-performing culture. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and business growth. What We're Looking For ACA/ACCA qualified or QBE with significant experience in practice. A minimum of four years in a similar role, with experience managing client relationships. Strong technical knowledge across accounts, tax, and VAT compliance. Leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
