Site Engineer (Temp-to-Perm) - East Midlands Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience and Ability) Location: East Midlands (Various Sites) Sector: Civil Engineering / Construction Are you a Site Engineer with experience in civil engineering looking to expand your skills into site management? A leading construction company is seeking a motivated and ambitious Site Engineer with civils experience, coupled with the drive and aptitude for site management input, to join their team in the East Midlands. Key Responsibilities: Provide engineering support to the site team, ensuring all construction activities are carried out safely and in compliance with project specifications. Work alongside senior management to gain exposure to site management, taking on responsibilities beyond engineering tasks. Assist with site setup, project planning, and overseeing subcontractors' work. Ensure quality control procedures are followed, and maintain detailed records of daily site activities. Liaise with other site engineers and project managers to ensure efficient and safe project delivery. Contribute to problem-solving, ensuring any potential issues are addressed promptly and effectively.Key Requirements: Strong background in civil engineering, with experience in the construction industry. Ability to transition from a purely engineering role to a site management position. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams. Proficiency with engineering software and technology. A proactive and flexible approach with a desire to learn and progress in site management.Qualifications: Site experience within civil engineering or construction environments.
