Building Safety Surveyor (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)
Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
As a Building Safety Surveyor, you will oversee numerous local and regional projects, ensuring that fire risk remediation and building safety measures are implemented efficiently. Your duties will include:
1. Overseeing surveys for fire doors and compartmentation.
2. Working alongside IT and Health & Safety teams to identify and mitigate fire risks in Anchor's properties.
3. Ensuring project delivery aligns with Anchor's standards, fire safety laws, and guidelines.
4. Striving for complete compliance with Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) directives.
This position offers the flexibility of working from home while covering areas in Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumbria, Merseyside, and nearby regions to support critical building safety initiatives.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
5. Problem-Solving Capabilities: Skills to devise creative solutions for achieving and maintaining fire compliance.
6. Project Management Experience: A track record of managing escalating FRA actions, coordinating with contractors, and meeting deadlines.
7. Communication Proficiency: Exceptional verbal and written communication to effectively influence and negotiate.
8. Team Collaboration: Experience in working with operational teams, managing project communications, particularly in contexts involving leasehold schemes under or over Section 20 thresholds.
