My Client is looking for a Controls Engineer with experience in designing manufacturing engineering systems.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong electrical bias to start a career within a well-known organization, and have a fresh start in 2025!
Responsibilities:
1. Detailed design of control/electrical systems including selection of equipment, generation of schematics, cable schedules & electrical calculations.
2. Electrical control panel layout/design.
3. AutoCAD and possibly Solid Works as a design/drafting tool.
4. Selection and configuration of process instrumentation, sensors, weighing systems, etc.
5. Development and programming various manufacturers' PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
6. Produce project-related documentation using various IT packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
7. Direct involvement in control panel design, build, and testing.
8. On-site commissioning of Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation systems.
9. Involvement in the budgeting and estimation process.
10. Assist in the CE Marking assessment using Laidler/Sistema Software and produce supporting documentation.
11. Functional Safety system design to include interlocks/guarding/trip systems.
12. Design of systems compliant with ATEX Regulations - COMPEX certified.
