We are looking for a Director of Supply Chain Management (SCM) to lead our UK SCM organisation. In this role, you will drive professional and responsible procurement, harnessing the potential of digitalisation and supply chain innovation. The SCM function spans across the four business areas relevant to the UK, covering Indirect Materials and Services as well as Functional Excellence aspects. You will make an impact by: Developing and implementing the SCM strategy for Siemens Mobility in the UK. Defining and ensuring compliance with procurement standards, regulations, and guidelines. Fostering a collaborative and trust-based SCM network that promotes knowledge sharing. Engaging with Siemens Mobility Limited board members, business unit management teams, and the global Siemens Mobility SCM organisation to align on strategy and drive cross-functional collaboration. Acting as a trusted advisor on SCM-related risks, opportunities, and challenges across the organisation. Delivering key procurement targets, including Procurement Volume, Contribution to Net Income, and Cost & Value Engineering initiatives. Leading the transformation of SCM processes and workforce, focusing on digitalisation, supply chain innovation, and diversity. Your success will be grounded by: Proven experience in senior leadership roles within Supply Chain Management. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and leadership teams. Ability to leverage diverse perspectives to build high-performing teams. A collaborative leadership style that fosters knowledge-sharing and cooperation. Established internal and external networks beyond your own business area. A leadership approach that inspires and motivates teams to achieve common goals and embrace change. A university degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
