We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Retail Operations Executive. This role will primarily support the Head of Retail in managing and executing key retail projects, from concept to de-rig, across our RTW and accessories wholesale partners, liaising with design, operations, retail and wholesale. The ideal candidate will have strong retail operations experience, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to manage both internal and external relationships across multiple projects.You will be instrumental in keeping all threads of the projects together, tracking progress, and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Coordinate and manage key retail projects, ensuring they stay on track, on time, and within scope. This includes creating and maintaining critical paths, timelines, and ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day operations.
* Retail Support: Support retail operations for Rothy’s pop-up shops, retailer training sessions, and non-staffed pop-ups. Assist in developing training materials and ensuring sales teams are equipped with the necessary tools for successful product promotion and customer engagement.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales teams, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure all projects are aligned with business goals. This includes coordinating between different departments and ensuring clear communication at all levels.
* Training & Development: Deliver or assist in training sales teams across various channels, ensuring that they understand the product range, sales techniques, and the retail experience required to maximize sales in-store.
* Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, ensuring that key stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the course of the project.
* Problem Solving & Adaptability: Quickly address and resolve any issues that arise within the retail environment, whether in pop-ups or retail training sessions.
* Operational Efficiency: Help streamline processes and identify areas for improvement in retail operations, making suggestions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Project Management: Support in managing projects with external teams, both locally and internationally, ensuring alignment across various time zones and cultures.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in retail operations, project management, or a similar role. Experience in fashion or accessories retail is a strong plus.
* Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders, both locally and globally.
* Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
* Retail Knowledge: Understanding of retail operations, customer service, and how retail experiences differ from wholesale.
* Creative Problem-Solver: Quick to adapt and resolve issues as they arise, keeping the bigger picture in mind while managing details.
* Proactive and Passionate: Enthusiastic about retail, with a desire to learn and grow while helping shape the future of the brand in retail spaces.
