Are you looking to start a career in fashion? Experience is not necessary, however having worked in the industry would be a plus. Our client, one of UK's leading fashion brands, is looking for a Wholesale Operations Coordinator / Wholesale Merchandiser.
Our client is looking for a self-starter who is solution-oriented and able to manage their own workload. Willingness to learn is a must.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Follow up and track Purchase Orders (POs) from customers and ensure timely processing.
2. Communicate and resolve any queries on orders with customers and factories.
3. Upload styles, sales orders (SOs), and POs in the ERP system.
4. Perform housekeeping tasks in the ERP system to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.
5. Send POs to factories and sales order confirmations (SOCs) to customers.
6. Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely shipments and deliveries.
7. Monitor delivery schedules and update customers on any delays or issues.
8. Provide barcodes and packing and shipping instructions to factories.
9. Process stock into inventory, allocate orders, raise picking tickets and invoices.
10. Send weekly order books to the customers and chase them for booking.
11. Process booking forms and communicate delivery schedule with warehouses.
12. Advise customers on order status, delivery delays, and any related issues.
13. Address queries from credit control and finance departments.
14. Ensure accurate and efficient reporting throughout each sales season.
15. Work with factories and shipping departments on salesman samples.
16. Address and resolve any queries related to salesman samples.
17. Support the Operations team with ad-hoc tasks related to sales and purchase orders.
18. Assist with any additional tasks related to customer order management, sales support, and internal operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Must be a UK resident with full rights to work.
2. A natural ability to multi-task with strict adherence to deadlines.
3. Strong detail orientation with excellent time management and organizational skills.
4. Tech savvy – Outlook, Excel, Word; able to quickly learn the company ERP system.
5. Outstanding communication and follow-up skills.
6. Eagerness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, driven by teamwork and collaborative innovation.
7. Self-starter and solution-oriented, able to manage their own workload.
8. Experience is not necessary, however having worked in the industry would be a plus.
9. Willingness to learn.
