* Maintenance Groundsperson
At Haileybury, we are leading the way in redefining education, and are seeking an innovative and people focused professional to join the Facilities team, based at Brighton Campus.
As a Maintenance Groundsperson, you are responsible for maintaining the grounds, gardens, and lawns of Haileybury under the direction of supervisory staff. The role includes learning, developing and implementing horticultural skills and turf management techniques to assist in the development and implementation of the Grounds Managers work program.
Your key responsibilities would include:
* Under the direction of the Building and Grounds Supervisor, Turf Maintenance for turf and lawn establishment and maintenance
* Sports Field Preparation
* Irrigation Maintenance
* Maintenance Duties
* Function Support
* Compliance
o Responsible for ensuring that all activities under their control are conducted in a legal and ethical manner, consistent with Haileybury standards, policy and procedure.
o Ensure quality of paperwork, documentation and reports meets Haileybury standards and timelines
* Environmental Health and Safety
o Responsible for adopting work practices that are executed in line with the highest practicable standards with respect to environmental health and safety in the workplace.
