This is a community-based role that requires frequent travel to various locations throughout the county including areas that may not be accessible by public transportation. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate how they will manage these travel requirements.
Are you a passionate, innovative and creative Core Professional with ongoing psychology therapies training and certification (i.e., CBT, CAT, DBT)?
Would you like to be part of the evolving Adult Eating Disorder Service, particularly supporting the transition of young adults from CAMHS into adult services?
We are seeking to recruit a qualified Senior Eating Disorders Practitioner to work within our FREED service and occasionally across our core service as required. This post will be countywide, with a central base at Truro Health Park, and you will be part of our enthused and dedicated team of Therapists and multidisciplinary team colleagues.
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with experience of working within the field of eating disorders, who has worked as a qualified core professional within ED settings, and who has successfully completed psychology interventions therapy training such as CBT, CAT, or DBT.
Relevant support and experience will be provided to ensure that successful newly qualified applicants will be able to settle into this dual function role if they're newly qualified in their psychology intervention.

* Direct Clinical work for complex cases - predominantly Anorexia Nervosa

Person Specification Education and qualification Essential
* Current professional registration - NMC, HCPC
* Professional qualification - e.g., accredited CBT therapist, CAT practitioner
* Postgraduate qualification to Master's level in relevant clinical specialism or equivalent experience relevant to specialist area - e.g., accredited CBT therapist, CAT practitioner
* Substantial experience working within Eating Disorders
* Good IT skills

* Qualification in teaching and assessing learners
Skills and aptitude Essential
* Excellent assessment skills
* Understanding of principles of all evidence-based treatments in adult eating disorders.
