We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a newly re-purposed children's residential service in Wisbech supporting children aged 8-18. As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained and that each child has the opportunity to achieve positive outcomes. You'll work closely with the Area Manager and Senior Leadership Team, leading a dedicated team and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver the best possible service. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a more strategic role and shape the future of the service. Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding care to ensure children achieve positive outcomes. Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, including service development and strategic planning. Lead, mentor, and support your team in a therapeutic and supportive environment. Manage budgets and financial performance effectively. Ensure safeguarding and compliance with all relevant legislation, including The Children Act 1989 and Children's Home Regulations. Collaborate with other professionals to provide tailored care for each child. Level 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent). Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's legislation. Experience in budget management and financial planning.
