This stunning property is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Conference & Banqueting Supervisor to join their team and help elevate their event offerings. As the Conference & Banqueting Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of events; oversee the day-to-day operations of the conference and banqueting facilities, ensuring that each event is delivered to the highest standards of service and quality. Conference &Banqueting Supervisor Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and organisation of conferences, banquets, and special events, ensuring all requirements are met and exceeded. Supervise and coordinate the set-up and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring proper layout and adherence to health and safety standards. Lead and motivate a team of banquet staff, providing training and support to ensure outstanding service delivery. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring clear communication throughout the planning process. Monitor event progress, addressing any issues that arise promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain inventory and manage equipment for events, ensuring everything is in excellent condition and available as needed. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu items are executed flawlessly and presented beautifully. Assist with administrative tasks related to event planning, including budget tracking and invoicing. Uphold the hotel’s standards of service and cleanliness in all conference and banqueting areas. Conference &Banqueting Supervisor Requirements: Previous experience in a supervisory role within conference and banqueting, events, or hospitality in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
