In this role, you will manage a caseload of clients across prison and probation settings to support their rehabilitation. The key focus is resettlement and securing employment, which includes helping clients develop skills, secure accommodation, and gain necessary support. You will provide 1:1 support and guidance, setting goals and milestones to aid their progress.
You will be based at HMP Aylesbury, and if needed, may sometimes be required to work in community settings such as Aylesbury / High Wycombe.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of clients across prison and probation settings.
2. Support clients' rehabilitation focusing on resettlement and securing employment.
3. Help clients develop skills, secure accommodation, and gain necessary support.
4. Provide 1:1 support and guidance, setting goals and milestones.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience working with individuals within the criminal justice system (prison or custodial setting).
2. Alternatively, experience supporting vulnerable clients in areas such as mental health, substance abuse, or homelessness.
3. Criminology graduates with relevant volunteer experience are encouraged to apply.
