Assessor/Trainer - Plumbing and Heating Industrial and Commercial Salary- £25,918 - £39,004 per annum Location- Cambridge Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with a large college based in Cambridge. The college are looking for an Assessor/Trainer in plumbing and Heating to join their dedicated team. The primary purpose of this job role is to: Take overall responsibility for an agreed caseload of learners to provide high quality training, coaching, mentoring, instruction and assessment to learners to achieve their apprenticeship and/or qualification in a timely manner. Act as main point of contact for employers and learners, creating positive relationships with employers to support in the training and development of learners and, providing feedback on progress as required. Provide high quality training, coaching, instruction and assessment to learners both in College and in their place of work as appropriate. Initially assess the learners to determine their readiness for the apprenticeship programme, and to establish an individual learning plan to support their progression through the programme. Design and provide high quality training, coaching, instruction and programmes of learning, through training plans, that give learners opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours holistically, in sufficient depth, and in a timely manner, ready for the Gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA), mapped out in the individual learning plan. Qualifications (Essential for when applying) Grade 4 or equivalent in English and Maths Recent vocational experience or history of continuous professional development whilst working in a relevant industry. Experience of working with industry colleagues in a professional capacity. Experience of working with/mentoring apprentices. Evidence of achieving targets. Ability to work flexibly when required including evening, Interview weekend and summer holiday periods.
