At HOERBIGER UK, we are proud to be a vital part of the HOERBIGER Service business in Europe, providing innovative parts, repairs, and solutions for compressors. Our Field Service activities have experienced significant growth over the past five years, and we’re looking for a proactive Field Service Customer Service Representative to support our continued success.
In this role, you will be the key point of contact for our Field Service customers, working closely with the Field Service Manager and Sales Key Account Managers to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish. Your efforts will help us deliver reliable solutions and maintain our high standards in customer service.
What You’ll Do:
1. Customer Experience : Ensure the best possible experience for Field Service customers, providing timely updates and managing expectations.
2. Order Management : Enter and maintain customer orders in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
3. Documentation : Prepare and issue pre-job documentation for both customers and field service engineers, as well as documentation for workshop repair activities .
4. Project Monitoring : Track and monitor the progress of workshop repair projects to align with on-site activities, ensuring timely delivery.
5. Invoicing & Costs : Collect project costs, prepare invoices, and ensure financial accuracy across Field Service projects.
6. Internal & External Communication : Proactively communicate with internal teams (operations, field service engineers) and external vendors for subcontracted activities.
7. Logistics Support : Provide logistics support for the Field Service team, helping them manage equipment and resources efficiently.
8. Planning : Keep the Field Service planning tool up to date, ensuring a smooth flow of service operations.
9. Issue Resolution : Proactively communicate potential delays and issues to customers, maintaining transparency and trust.
What you bring along
10. 5+ years of experience as a Customer Service Representative, ideally in a technical or service environment .
11. Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP .
12. Hands-on mentality combined with a high level of ownership and responsibility.
13. Team-player with a flexible and proactive attitude, able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
14. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to fulfilling the promise, "we always deliver."
15. Dedication to quality with a strong process-oriented approach.
16. Ability to think quickly and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
17. Good communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
18. Proficiency in Microsoft Office ; knowledge of MS Project is a plus.
