Hybrid / Gillingham, Kent + travel. Up to £47,300 per annum + benefits to include 6 weeks holiday (plus bank holidays), funding for training / development, pension, private healthcare, mental health & well-being support. MKC Training are seeking two Learning Specialists to design and deliver effective, engaging, innovative, high-quality virtual and blended learning solutions across a growing commercial training portfolio encompassing leadership and management, project and programme management, and other behavioural and technical skills to address critical institutional capabilities.
The Learning Specialists are ambassadors for leading-edge learning provision both internally and externally and will facilitate this through a high level of needs analysis design, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills as well as passion and commitment to learning (including own development).
As a Learning Specialist, you will get the opportunity to work with a wide range of people, have your ideas valued and listened to, contribute your perspective and expertise to projects, and be encouraged to develop yourself and others, with CPD offered and valued so that you, and your career, continue to develop.
Delivering virtually as well as face to face, you must be willing to travel in the UK to deliver face-to-face learning when required, while benefitting from the balance of sensible scheduling and flexible hours and hybrid working so that you achieve a great work / life balance.
Additional qualifications and experience to support your role as Learning Specialist:
1. Recognised L&D qualification (level 3 minimum) and substantial experience of designing and delivering high quality learner-centred people development and soft skills programmes to a variety of audience types for both virtual and face to face solutions
2. Qualified, certified, current and competent in vocational areas relevant to portfolio specialisms
3. Passion for helping others learn and develop
4. Strong facilitation skills for learner-centric training
5. Ability to engage senior level audiences
6. Appreciation of the needs and expectations of the modern learners; able to design learning solutions appropriately
7. Work seamlessly with MS Office suite and web-based learning collaboration tools
8. Ability to deliver according to awarding body requirements and effectively and efficiently assess learner submissions
9. Willingness to deliver training at venues both virtually and face to face
