The role of the Customer Service & Internal Sales Coordinator is to support the Test & Calibration team, ensuring that we run an efficient back-office system enabling the business to have full traceability of Customers Instruments and all supporting paperwork is raised in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Administration
1. Prepare and issue quotations promptly for in-house, on-site, delivery, collection, repairs, and subcontract work.
2. Follow up with third-party contracted work and customer purchase orders for repair and calibration.
3. Manage the open order backlog to ensure it is accurate and up to date.
4. Maintain and manage customer records using calibration software.
5. Liaise with in-house colleagues and a remote finance team.
6. Work closely with the Head of Laboratory to support new sales and business development initiatives.
Customer Service
1. Respond to inbound customer service calls promptly and professionally.
2. Track customer calibrations and provide updates on any anticipated delays.
3. Ensure monthly calibration reminder letters are sent out and followed up appropriately.
4. Oversee goods in and goods out processes using our software system.
General Support
1. Provide flexible support across all areas of the business as required within our small and dynamic team.

1. Experience in sales administration, customer service, and sales.

Additional Information
This role is based at our Ashington Office. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer remote or hybrid working.
Please note that this role is a 6 month temporary contract.
