A role has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a company based in Hounslow.
Responsibilities:
1. Intercompany accounting.
2. Assisting with the preparation of revenue recognition (billing).
3. Assisting with fixed assets management and capital purchases/leasing.
4. Assisting with the preparation of accruals.
5. Assisting with the preparation of prepayments.
6. Other overheads analysis.
7. Assist with purchase ledger invoices entries.
8. Assist with sales ledger invoices entries.
9. Bank reconciliations and allocations of receipts.
10. Posting Payments and BACS runs.
11. Balance Sheet reconciliations.
12. Posting journals.
13. You will assist in identifying process improvements and seek system enhancements to improve efficiencies.
14. This is a varied role, where you will be producing financial analysis and partnering with the management & financial accountants along with other areas in the business.
Requirements:
1. Must hold an accounting degree.
2. Currently studying towards CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
3. Must possess previous accounting experience and exposure to month end within a corporate environment.
4. Must possess strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and basic PowerPoint skills.
