Job Title: Occupational Therapist
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ryecroft School in the West Midlands.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a rounded and integrated approach to care and clinical services, with experience working with children and young people who have intellectual disabilities and/or autism with additional needs.
You will be expected to implement a holistic, therapeutic, and dynamic approach to helping our vulnerable children in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and their occupational and sensory needs are supported throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertaking all aspects of Occupational Therapy clinical duties, including standardised and non-standardised assessments, bespoke interventions, and preparing relevant documentation.
* Providing information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as required.
Requirements:
* Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons)
* Registered with the HCPC
* Experience working with children and young people who have intellectual disabilities and/or autism with additional needs.
* Able to work collaboratively with a range of key partners and resolve conflicts effectively.
