About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to join the Creative Department at FutureSkills in the position of Deputy Head of Department. The successful candidate will lead on curriculum development and delivery, monitor and report on KPIs, whilst promoting high-quality standards across our creative curriculum.
In addition, you’ll be teaching within the Media and Journalism team and should have a good working knowledge of video and/or audio production technologies and great skills in Adobe Creative Suite. It is desirable that applicants have relevant industry experience and a background in content creation (audio or visual) and a solid network of industry professionals.
We would love to hear from candidates with an excellent understanding of media theories and the ability to teach for exam success. Candidates should have prior experience of delivering vocational qualifications such as BTEC and/or OCR Nationals. Experience as a moderator or SV is desirable.
The successful candidate must have an absolute commitment to standards and delivering an outstanding experience and outcome for learners. You will be committed to excellence in teaching and learning with a demonstrable track record.
