To provide a comprehensive administrative service within the department to Orthotists, Consultants, Associate Specialists, Registrars, Junior Doctors, Nurse Specialists and Physiotherapists. What we'll need you to bring Good basic education. Understanding of a range of work procedures, all of which are non-routine, requiring an intermediate level of theoretical knowledge Expertise knowledge gained through experience of Government Prescription Charges and Exemption Categories. Expertise knowledge gained through experience of the range of administration procedures. Knowledge of Software programmes Understanding of medical terms and knowledge acquired through further experience. Good organisational and communication skills It would be great if you also have RSA3/SVQ3/NC Secretarial Studies or equivalent Knowledge or experience of a Surgical Appliance/Orthotic Demonstrable experience in an equivalent/relevant position Experience of PMS Proficient IT skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft office packages Car Driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence Contract type Permanent Full time 37 Hours Location and Working Pattern This role will be based in Orthotics within University Hospital Wishaw Looking to find out more?
