In your role you are the first person an event guest / client speaks to or meets - ensure that is a great first impression of you and the hotel
·Guests / Clients must receive a friendly and personalised response to their enquiry
·Remember these organisers are often arranging an event for the first and only time; you have to make it easy to do and understand their concerns and needs
·Every site visit at the hotel must experience that WOW factor
·Sales conversion, profit generation and a successful event are your priorities
·Maximise opportunities through questioning and listening techniques
·Ask your organiser what is key to making the event a success for them and the guests; what would make their job as organiser easier
·Make sure via the events order and weekly planning meetings that operations understand the objective of the event and how we can exceed expectations for the organiser and guests
