Property Insurance Solicitor / Legal Executive – Complex Property Team

Salary: £50,000 Performance based Bonus
We are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity on behalf of a well-respected legal firm. This role sits within their Complex Property team, which is part of a wider Claims Solutions Group. The team is known for its high-value, high-profile, and challenging property insurance work, making this an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
The Role
You will join a specialist team handling complex property-related claims, including:
1. Subrogated recovery claims (typically valued at over £250,000).
2. Defendant public liability property damage claims.
3. Policy coverage matters, including both advisory work and disputes.
4. Manage a varied caseload, delivering high standards of client service.
5. Build strong, trusted relationships with insurer clients and colleagues.
6. Contribute to marketing and business development efforts, such as delivering training and writing thought leadership content.
7. Demonstrate excellent financial and administrative management on your files.
The work spans cases involving fires, floods, storms, escapes of water or oil, explosions, and other property damage scenarios.
About You
1. To be a qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive, or barrister, with at least six months’ relevant experience in property insurance work.
2. Strong technical skills and the ability to analyse complex legal cases.
3. The confidence and professionalism to build and manage client relationships effectively.
4. A commercial mindset and strong financial management abilities.
5. A team-oriented approach, with a willingness to share knowledge and support others.
