Reeson Education are actively looking to recruit experienced Special Needs (SEN/SEND) Teaching Assistant (s), for a large SEN client school based in Barking. They work with a broad range of SEN(D) needs from Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
Teaching Assistant - School details:

Teaching Assistant - Role details:
13. Support students with special needs
14. Manage behaviours using positive strategies
15. Supervise students on breaks, transition and on school trips
16. Set up and tidy away lesson resources
17. Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment
18. Personal Care duties when required (feeding, changing)
19. Working as a team to ensure every child progresses in their individualised learning plans
The School are seeking bright graduates and experienced Teaching Assistant's who are open to working with their SEN children, able to show initiative and ready to get stuck in!
The ideal candidate would have:
20. Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
21. Makaton, PECS or Team-Teach training - not essential
22. Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Emotional Intelligence
23. Experience in a Classroom environment
24. Good Literacy and Numeracy Skills
25. A Positive, Proactive, Professional, Friendly and Outgoing Personality
