Working with a local secondary school based in Blackpool, we are looking for an ICT Technician for a temporary role that has the possibility to become permanent.
The role, due to start with immediate effect, is a full time one, term time only, with hours to be confirmed.
The ICT Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the school's ICT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of technology within the learning environment.
As an ICT Technician you will be responsible for:
1. Technical Support: Providing technical assistance to staff and students, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
2. Network Administration: Maintaining and managing the school's network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches.
3. System Updates: Installing and updating operating systems, software applications, and security patches.
4. Hardware Maintenance: Repairing and replacing computer equipment, peripherals, and audiovisual systems.
5. Data Backup and Recovery: Implementing and managing data backup procedures to safeguard important information.
