About us Clachaig Inn is located in the heart of Glencoe and has been owned and run by the Daynes family for over 40 years. The business extends to busy food and drink based trading in both Glencoe and Fort William. In addition the business provides hotel accommodation as well as 12 self catering properties located in and around the Glencoe area. In support of the business, there are also a number of properties which provide staff accommodation. About the role A rare opportunity has now arisen for the role of senior bookkeeper for the various businesses. As an extension to this key administrative role we are also seeking a Business Administrator to support the managers and directors in the general running of the business, this being a natural addition to the bookkeeping role. It is possible that consideration may be given to this being offered as 2 separate roles, based on pro rata hours. Skills Required Strong numeracy skills and previous bookkeeping experience are required. Confidence in working with Sage accounting, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and front of house booking software along with good communication skills are also required. A working knowledge of payroll management would be beneficial, though payroll processing itself is outsourced. The role of administrator requires confidence in a wide range (though relatively simple) of admin/finance based tasks required in support of the wider management of the businesses. Remuneration The package offered will depend on experience but will reflect the fact this is a senior position within the business. In addition the salary the role will take an equal share of the Tronc scheme operated at Clachaig.
