The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Asset Manager to join my client's Infrastructure Property and Asset Management team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of around 100 assets and play a key role in supporting the growth of infrastructure clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the day-to-day management of a mixed-use property portfolio, primarily residential assets.
* Managing leasing and letting processes.
* Handling rent reviews and lease renewals.
* Acquiring and onboarding new assets into the portfolio.
* Liaising with the Facilities Management team to ensure compliance checks are completed.
* Coordinating property maintenance, repairs, and improvements, including liaising with tenants and contractors.
* Conducting annual and periodic property inspections.
* Managing key stakeholder relationships.
* Preparing accurate and timely client reports.
* Staying up to date with relevant legislation and ensuring portfolio compliance.
* Undertaking site visits to read meters, conduct fire alarm tests, meet contractors, and perform basic inspections.
What We're Looking For:
* Ideally MRICS, AssocRICS, or MARLA qualified.
* Extensive experience in property asset management or a related field.
* Proven ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships effectively.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.
* A full UK driving licence is essential.
