We are on the lookout for a Health, Safety and Facilities Manager to play a key role within the Operations team.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in facilities management with a proven responsibility for Health & Safety, budgeting, and contractor/line management.

Your Day to Day:
Our customer base includes many different industries and markets around the world. Our complete TETRA and LTE solutions have been developed specifically for users in multiple sectors to face their critical communications challenges.
There is no such thing as a typical day here at Sepura. You will be supported by your manager and team, as well as collaborating with other departments across the business.
Activities you will be responsible for include:
* Proactively manage and control all aspects of the company offices to ensure they operate efficiently and present a professional image for customers and other visitors.
* Management of all hard services; HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems.
* Managing all aspects of Health & Safety relevant to Sepura’s business, actively promoting a safe working environment ensuring company compliance.
* Adherence to the company policies and procedures and ensure these are kept up-to-date.
* Delivering physical security measures in line with agreed company policy.
* Budgeting and management of operational and capital budgets, ensuring efficient budgetary control of all department expenditure.
* Contract management of third-party suppliers; hard and soft services.
* Responsible for catering contractor service delivery.
* Manage small works projects to budget and timescale.
* Responsible for all aspects of front of house.
* Liaising with insurance providers, landlords, and other outside bodies as required.
* Developing property strategy, lease management and landlord relationship.
* Undertaking of space planning projects supporting evolving building strategy.
* Develop and manage the relationship with the landlord’s agents and service providers.
* Procurement and management of energy, supporting the sustainability agenda.
* Represent the company when dealing with external bodies such as Insurers, Environmental Health, Police, Fire etc.
* Significant involvement in disaster recovery management.
* Leading the Company’s Wellbeing programme, working with the HR function and other stakeholders.
This job may involve occasional travel so the successful applicant will have a full, clean driving licence and their own car. Travel expenses will be paid.
Additional duties may arise on an ad hoc basis, or as the business requires.
What you need to succeed:Qualifications:
* NEBOSH General Certificate.
Experience and Skills:
* An extensive career history in FM demonstrating an excellent understanding of building systems and relevant engineering knowledge.
* Having been responsible for H&S and security previously.
* Line management of teams including in-house team and external service contractors.
* Responsibility for budget forecasting and monitoring.
* Involvement in supporting the delivery of a Wellbeing programme.
* Dealing quickly with all kinds of problems and under pressure; ‘thinking on your feet’.
* Confident with good written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to liaise with all levels of the organisation as well as external suppliers and customers.
* Organised and able to make your own decisions.
* Excellent planning skills to meet the objectives on time.
* Understanding of financial management and budget forecasting.
* Contract procurement and performance management.
* Project management.

* Security Clearance will be required for this role.
