What you'll be doing:? The purpose of this role is to build and manage the portfolio of STARK UK a strategic approach to campaigns through management of customer research and delivery of insight to drive customer engagement and sponsorships, hospitality framework and loyalty programme(s), to drive awareness, sales and enviable market share, so that the company achieves its ambition to be the UK's leading builders' merchant. This role encompasses the campaign/project work of UK stark brands of Jewson, JPS, MBS, Frazer, Minster You will be required to: Data-Driven Marketing: Lead impactful campaigns using data insights to optimize strategies and measure outcomes. Brand Management: Oversee marketing for STARK brands (Jewson, Frazer, Minster, JPS, MBS, George Boyd), supporting category plans where needed. Campaign Innovation: Develop tailored campaigns to drive customer engagement, loyalty, and sales, maximizing ROI. Prospecting & Acquisition: Create acquisition strategies targeting both large contracts and tradespeople across all STARK brands. Event Leadership: Manage key events like Jewson Live on Tour and industry exhibitions, driving customer engagement. Sponsorship & Hospitality: Build cost-effective frameworks for sponsorship and hospitality that drive commercial success and enhance reputation. Loyalty Programs: Establish a cost-efficient, customer-benefiting loyalty scheme for STARK UK. Team Leadership: Lead and empower a high-performing team, supporting branch turnarounds and focused campaigns. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with corporate communications, e-commerce, and digital teams to ensure unified messaging and business growth. Team Development: Lead and grow the Marketing Managers and Executives, fostering a collaborative work environment. What you'll need to have:? Bachelor's/post-graduate degree in Marketing, Commerce, Communications, or similar. Extensive Experience in strategic and hands-on marketing, with a focus on B2B (some B2C), and extensive project management experience. Expertise in market sizing, audience research, and actionable insights. Proven ability to lead under fast-paced, transformational environments (experience with PE/VC ownership a plus). Manage high volumes of work and competing priorities efficiently. Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting B2B audiences (events, traditional & digital media). Creative thinker with the ability to drive customer loyalty and engagement. High proficiency in data analysis to inform decision-making and measure impact. Strong background in customer relationship management and using data for targeted prospecting. Strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
