Job Duties:
1. Supporting teachers in the delivery of educational activities
2. Assisting in the preparation of learning materials
3. Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
4. Supervising students in the classroom and during activities
5. Helping to maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
1. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
2. Relevant experience working with children or young people
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
1. Previous experience working with children or young people
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Understanding of educational principles and practices
2. Ability to communicate effectively with students and teachers
3. Patience and empathy when working with students
4. Organisational skills and the ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
2. First Aid certification
3. Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The Teaching Assistant may need to assist with activities outside of the classroom and support students with varying needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
